    The Story of Uncle George:
    Innovator, Vineyardist, Winemaker, Advisor, Educator.

From hard work in the vineyards as a young man with a self professed “home spun” knowledge, to flying a helicopter of the California central valley enabling him to manage over 35,000 acres of vineyards and tree crops, George Borello has been a fastidious innovator and and invaluable contributor to agriculture as we know it today. We have been incredibly fortunate to have him as a mentor and an inspiration, guiding us in our pursuits of quality grape growing and wine making. Our cousin by blood, our uncle by choice. Lover of Cabernet Sauvignon! A man with a love for the vine, only superseded by the love for his family. A member of the “Greatest Generation”, and a USAF veteran. He is 100% - We love honor and respect - Uncle George.
