  3. Sierra Vista Vineyard

Sierra Vista Cabernet Sauvignon - 2009 Ancient Vine Reserve

    Cabernet Sauvignon, Ancient Vine Reserve

In the glass, our Cabernet Sauvignon is rich burgundy in color with tints of indigo.
The aromas are of black cherry, briar, cassis and spicy cedar.

In the mouth, the wine opens with bright berry fruit followed by a full, round mid-palate.

The finish lingers with rich notes of chocolate and cherry. We try to introduce enough new oak to add to the complexity without overpowering the fruit. Tasting our older Cabernets has proven that our vineyard consistently produces wines that live ten or more years with proper storage.

  5. Sierra Vista Vineyard

Sierra Vista - 2015 Cab Syrah

    Sierra Vista, 2015 Cab Sirah
It’s really beautiful. Blackberry… black currant, lots of herbatious-ness, wild flowers, violets, and enough grippy tannins so that if you’re used to having a straight cab, it definitely has that presence for you.

  6. Cielo Estate Winery - Shingle Springs CA

    Cielo Estate - 2013 Patramoine

    Cielo Estate, 2014 Patramoine
This 50/50 blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Cabernet Franc reveals the true characteristics of both varietals. It is filled with beautiful aromatics of roasted bell pepper, artichoke heart as well as oregano and a hint of dark cocoa. Mid-palate flavors are bright red fruits – think cherry pie and cranberry followed by a finish of coffee and mocha.
