    Try Mediterranean Lamb Burgers, Paired with Auriga Sangiovese

    Yields 4 burgers

    Ingredients

    1.25 lbs chopped lamb
    2-3 tbs chopped fresh cilantro
    1 tsp grated ginger root
    1 tsp ground black pepper
    1/4 cup panko crumbs

    Yogurt Sauce Ingredients

    16 oz plain nonfat Greek yogurt
    1/2 tsp salt
    1 clove garlic
    1 tbs chopped fresh cilantro
    1/2 tsp lemeon juice

    Additional ingredients

    large sweet onion, grilled
    cibatta sandwich rolls
    crumbled feta cheese
    baby arugula leaves
    sliced ripe tomato

    Directions

    1. Preheat outdoor grill

    2.  Mix lamb, cilantro, ginger, garlic, salt, panko, and pepper in a large bowl until combined.
    Divied evenly into 4 portions and shape into patties. Cover and chill until ready to cook.

    Mix Greek yogurt, salt garlic and additional cilantro, cover and refrigerate.

    3.  Cook the lamb on the grill until desired doneness. 3-4 mins per side. Top with feta, when removing from grill.

    4.  Toast ciabatta on grill, spread one side with yogurt sauce. Add carmalized onions, baby arugula and tomato, followed by the top of the roll

    5.  Add your favorite side dishes and enjoy with Auriga Sangiovese
