    This lovely ruby colored wine opens with a nose of cherry pie, plum, baking spices such as cinnamon and clove, and slight hint of butterscotch. These are followed by hints of cedar, sawdust, and pipe tobacco. On the palate it has dark berry flavors such as blackberry, balanced with a slight earthy note and bittersweet chocolate/cocoa flavor.
